What waxing really costs in London
No “call for pricing.” These numbers come straight from 146 London studios’ own published menus — one comparable price per studio, per treatment — so you know roughly what’s fair before you book.
Price by treatment
Each bar runs from the lowest to the highest published price. The shaded band is the middle half of studios (25th to 75th percentile); the dark line is the median. We only show treatments where at least five studios publish a comparable price.

Brazilian: waxing vs sugaring
In our listings, a Brazilian sugaring is £23 more at the median than a Brazilian wax. Far fewer studios publish a sugaring price, and branches of the same brand often share one menu, so treat the sugaring figure as a rough guide. Curious about the difference? Read sugaring vs waxing.
Brazilian wax by neighbourhood

Why laser isn’t ranked
87 locations in our directory offer laser hair removal, and 84 publish at least one laser price. We don’t put those prices in the index because they aren’t like-for-like: laser is priced per body area, per session or as a package of sessions, often with intro or membership pricing, and the number of sessions you need varies from person to person. A “from” price for one small area tells you little about a full course. Each studio’s profile shows its laser prices with their area and session wording intact. Read what affects laser prices or browse laser providers.
How we calculate it
- Published prices only. Every figure comes from a studio’s own website, menu or booking page, with the source and check date on its profile. We don’t collect quotes or survey anyone.
- Single treatments only. We exclude combos and bundles, packages and memberships, touch-ups and refills, first-visit or intro offers, add-ons, and student or kids’ pricing. Laser is excluded entirely.
- One price per studio. For each treatment we take each studio’s lowest comparable price, so a long menu doesn’t count twice. Branches of the same brand are separate studios, and often share a menu. Where a studio lists a starting price (“from £X”), we use that.
- Percentiles are real prices. We use nearest-rank percentiles, so every median and quartile shown is a price some studio actually publishes.
- Live, not a snapshot. The index recalculates from our current listings whenever this page loads, including owner-approved updates.
- Not a quote. Your price can depend on the beauty therapist, service variant, add-ons, and studio policies. Always confirm with the studio.
